"The Shot Heard 'Round the World- Oct 3, 1951"

I sent a request to Bobby Thomson asking him to tell the story on a baseball about his memory of his "Shot Heard 'Round the World" and this is what I got:

"Down 4 to 1, last of the 9th. Dark, Mueller singled. Lockman doubled to left. Score 4 to 2. Branca comes in to pitch. I hit second pitch, a fast ball, out lower left field stands to win game 5 to 4."
