Don Robinson
"1989 WS Game 3 Starter"

I sent a request to Don Robinson asking him to tell the story on a baseball about what he remembered from his perspective of the Game 3 of the 1989 World Series that was delayed because of the Earthquake and this is what I got:

"I was getting my knee taped up by the trainer in front of my locker when I heard something like people at a basketball game..."
"... pounding their feet on the bleachers, then it stopped. All of a sudden trainer looked at me and said that he thought we were going to have a earthquake, then the locker room started to shake and the lights..."
"... went out. It was pitch black and couldn't see anything! Lights finally game on and I walked to the field and 65,000 were chanting 'lets play ball'"

If you are not familiar with the event, here is the detail from MLB.com.
